PINEDALE — Funeral services for Edith A. Irving, 79, will be announced at a later date.

A family gathering will be at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, at the Pinedale Chapter House. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.

Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.

Lucy Tapaha

BREADSPRINGS — Funeral services for Lucy Tapaha, 44, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, at Rollie Mortuary. The Rev. Jake Yazzie Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery.

Tapaha died Oct. 13, 2011, in Albuquerque. She was born June 23, 1967, in Gallup into the Red Running into the Water People Clan for the Meadow People Clan.

Survivors include her husband Frank Tapaha of Steamboat; mother Alice P. Yazzie of Breadsprings; brothers Frank “Ricky” Yazzie Jr., Tully Yazzie of Albuquerque and Edison Yazzie of Breadsprings and sisters Annie Bitsne and Bertha Tom of Breadsprings.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Clara Pino, Frank Yazzie Sr., Tom Joe Thompson and Joe Wilson Pino.
Pallbearers will be family members.

The family will meet at Breadsprings Chapter House.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Karen Wilson

MEXICAN SPRINGS — Funeral services for Karen Wilson, 31, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, at the Full Gospel Church in Mexican Springs.

Bennie Harry will officiate. Burial will be at Lone Pine in Mexican Springs.

Wilson died on Oct. 13, 2011, in Mexican Springs. She was born Nov. 13, 1979, in Gallup into the Waters Edge People Clan for the Sleeping Rock Peoples Clan.

Wilson attended Tohatchi Elementary and Tohatchi High School. She was employed at Walmart for 12 years until 2010. She enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music, going to bingo, watching movies and fishing.
Survivors include her daughters Katie Sam and Ashley Sam, both of Mexican Springs; brother Arnold Wilson of Mexican Springs; sisters Vivian Johnson of Naschitti and Caroline Nutlouis of Piñon; grandparents Haswood and Evelyn Upshaw of Mexican Springs, Tom Wilson of Ramah and Annie Henio of Thoreau and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Caroline and Johnny Wilson; Rynell Tayah and Garrison Wilson.

Pallbearers will be Rashad John, Ryan John, Arlin Wilson, Roman Skeets, Kyle Tsosie and Willie Sherman.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Skeets residence, one mile west of Mexican Springs Chapter House.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
